Company History

RS Air Conditioning Services Ltd was formed in 2008 by Rob Tysoe after working for two companies in Cambridge from 1997 until leaving to start RS in 2007, Rob made the decision as he wanted to offer clients a much more inclusive and superior service and to have more control rather than be part of a large organisation and loose the personnel approach. As Rob’s background is from the engineering side of the industry not from a sales point of view which allows Rob to see the clients requirements from a more practical angle.

Simon has worked alongside Rob for the past 25 years at General Refrigeration, Constant Cooling & Breathe Interiors and has been a major part of the success of RS Air Conditioning Services over the past 12 years and he has a vast knowledge of the industry and is also from the engineering side of the business and has been very hands on with the training of younger engineers since the company started.

Tim joined Rob & Simon at Breathe Interiors and has been with them ever since, and joined as a trainee maintenance engineer and has now progressed to being a Manager dealing with high end clients and has brought some big contracts to the company since leaving coming off the tools and into the Management team and is a huge asset the business

Emma is the office Manager and has her work cut out keeping Rob, Simon & Tim in line and making sure that everything with the administration, accounts & heath safety and has been with RS since 2008, recently due to the growth of the business Gill Baldry joined the team to take over the operations of the planned maintenance side of the business.

The company now has 6 full time engineers and employs anywhere between 10 to 20 additional sub-contractors as and when the work load demands and the sub-contractors have worked with RS and the team for the past 20 years and always work to a high standard that are expected.
